The above Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy pertain to MyInvo/ MyInvo.com and all of its sub-domain names. Privacy Policy - This policy will be governed by the privacy laws and statutes of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Jurisdiction and Venue - Shall only be proper in Middlesex County, Massachusetts or a court having jurisdiction over such County. The parties agree to be bound by these jurisdictional limitations. Choice of Law - This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content: that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or is harmful to minors in any way; that is pornographic or depicts a human being engaged in actual sexual conduct including but not limited to (i) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex, or (ii) bestiality, or (iii) masturbation, or (iv) sadistic or masochistic abuse, or (v) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person; that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability; that impersonates any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a MyInvo employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity (this provision does not apply to messages that are lawful non-deceptive parodies of public figures.); that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent; that is false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, misinformative, or constitutes "bait and switch"; that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party, or Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; that constitutes or contains "affiliate marketing," "link referral code," "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or unsolicited commercial advertisement; that constitutes or contains any form of advertising or solicitation if (1) posted in areas of the MyInvo sites which are not designated for such purposes; or (2) emailed to MyInvo users who have requested not to be contacted about other services, products or commercial interests. that includes links to commercial services or web sites, except as allowed; that advertises any illegal services or the sale of any items the sale of which is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, including without limitation items the sale of which is prohibited or regulated by law; that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; that disrupts the normal flow of dialogue with an excessive number of messages (flooding attack) to the Service, or that otherwise negatively affects other users' ability to use the Service; or that employs misleading email addresses, or forged headers or otherwise manipulated identifiers in order to disguise the origin of Content transmitted through the Service.
Additionally, you agree not to: contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted; "stalk" or otherwise harass anyone; collect personal data about other users for commercial or unlawful purposes; use automated means, including spiders, robots, crawlers, data mining tools, or the like to download data from the Service - unless expressly permitted by MyInvo; irrelevant Content, repeatedly post the same or similar Content or otherwise impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure; attempt to gain unauthorized access to MyInvo's computer systems or engage in any activity that disrupts, diminishes the quality of, interferes with the performance of, or impairs the functionality of, the Service or the MyInvo website.
4. Access to the Service
MyInvo grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to access the Service for your own personal use of the Service, and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, or any Content made available via the Service (except for your own Content), without the express written consent of MyInvo. 2.) Member Eligibility:
- Consumers - You must be the rightful owner of the property being registered. By completing all the steps in the process of registering an item with MyInvo/ MyInvo.com, you are declaring that you are the rightful owner of the property and can demonstrate such ownership.
- If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental consent to establish an account and register any property with MyInvo/ MyInvo.com.
- Business - You are an authorized representative of the business with the authority to register this property with MyInvo/ MyInvo.com, and by completing all of the steps in the process of registering an item with MyInvo/ MyInvo.com, you are declaring that the business is the rightful owner of the property and can demonstrate such ownership.
3.) Fees and Term of Service:
- For both Consumers and Business, the initial registration is free of charge.
- Each item registration will be stored for up to one year from the date of registration.
- You can renew your item registration as early as two months prior to the date of expiration.
- You will be notified via e-mail (to the e-mail address listed in your membership contact information) approximately two months prior to a specific item registration expiration date. MyInvo may e-mail you several times leading up to the time of your item registration expiration.
- The main reason for having to renew your property registrations annually is to encourage property owners to take a few moments every year to review all registration entries, update item information and photos, and delete any entries that may have been sold, destroyed, etc…. or have little value to you. We want the system to run efficiently and effectively and to be free of irrelevant or outdated information.
4.) General Public Search:
- The Privacy Policy, FAQ, and How it Works sections of this website should be read and fully understood concerning the policies, practices, recommendations, and operation of the General Public Access Search and Lost & Found features of this service.
- You agree that MyInvo/ MyInvo.com and its officers, directors, and staff are in no way responsible for the actions, demeanor, or agendas of the person(s) that recovers your lost or stolen property and obtains (with your permission) your contact information from MyInvo.com during a serial number search.
- MyInvo recommends that if your property is recovered and you are contacted by a citizen - Non Law Enforcement, that good judgment is used in the process of meeting and obtaining your property.
5.) Loss & Recovery of Property:
- MyInvo is not responsible for any incorrect information that may have been entered by the property owner during the registration. It is very important that at the time of initial registration of an item, that the correct property name and serial number are entered. All other identification numbers and information can be edited any time while the item is registered.
- MyInvo does not claim, promise or guarantee the recovery of any lost or stolen property. This service is for reference only, and we do not insure title or ownership.
6.) Product Endorsements & Links:
- MyInvo/ MyInvo.com may endorse a product, program, or website that we feel is beneficial to the overall service that we provide.
- MyInvo is not responsible for the functionality or quality of service that any of these recommended products or services provided.
7.) Additional Terms:
- It is understood that this service is simply a channel to covey property information to the appropriate parties and you control which entities have access to your contact information. Operation of our website may be interfered with by outside forces that are out of our control; therefore we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted service.
- MyInvo/ MyInvo.com has the right to cancel and / or close out your MyInvo.com account at any time, and without notification if the management of MyInvo.com discovers or suspects that you are misusing this service in any way by tampering, attempting to tamper with, alter, disrupt, undermine, discredit, etc... the service or its functionality.
